I have tried to understand what this is but have not been successful in finding out and have left it at 128 when I have ripped- is this ok? I have seen these numbers mentioned many times in blogs and such but still not sure if what I have set is 'right' or what I should use (if i can adjust?) when I rip or download music. last question.in WMP on Tools-Ripping, It has a bit rate (e.g., 128, 192 etc.). how do you decide what music serivice to use for downloading and if I am understanding the diff options - pay per or subscription - it seems if you want to copy the download to either a portable or a CD maybe subsription makes sense? Can anyone reccommend good sites for comparion of providers as well as your opinions?ģ.
